DiscountedPetProducts.Net are LIARS

I am so sorry I didn't see this website prior to placing an order with this company!! I placed an order on August 4th and didn't receive my order until August 29th! I also paid via Paypal and filed a complaint with them when I hadn't received my order. During this month I spoke with them numerous times and was lied to EVERY time. When it FINALLY came, the hermit crab shells were cracked. If you are smart you will NOT order from these liars. They even went as far as to tell me the owner was a Pastor!!!! Well he must have said one heck of a prayer because my package was "lost" at the post office (a TOTAL lie) and then all of a sudden "POOF" it re-appeared. You'd think liars like this would atleast have their stories straight. I'll pay double somewhere else before I ever give these liars another dime!!

i tried the number listed above by steve (Phone: (856) 327-****) and it's now out of service. what a fraud!

i'm going to dispute the charge with my credit card company even though i'd rather just get what i ordered. they're horrible!

Similar experienec I am afraid. Ordered goods Augsut. No answer. Site says if you have a problem to do a "RMA/Problem ticket" but I cannot see where on earth you can do that. So I have sent three e-mails via their website so far and am about to do another.

As far as I can see they have stolen my money and ripped me off.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR THEM. IF YES PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Quite honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. In fact there is no customer service.

After a week and a half still no sign of the product. i have emailed them EVERYDAY four days in a row, and there is no response. On my account there is no shipping number. Terrible.

Nope.....i havent received my order yet .

I ordered on friday march 23 at 9:30 via paypal & 3 DAY SHIPPING

and today is march 30th and haven't received any of my orders.

I do not want to believe this is scam, but at least the company should get things right and give out orders i time.

An honest company is very different from a lazy and an inferior company who can't even be managed.

Also, I live in New Jersey.

I have the same issue. I ordered a product, they dont answer emails, they dont have a contact number, If you search Carlo Ayars he has several websites and addresses.

He is on facebook and lives in Franklinville NJ has several numbers 4 as a matter of fact. I still havent received my order or a refund.

On bbb he is listed as cant be found.. He is a scammer.

I have used this website a few times now and disagree with these comments,when i emailed them they replied and the orders take a little while but thats cause i live in the uk i hav been very pleased with the products i received

I made my dispute with Paypal within 36 hours and got a refund within 3 weeks. They told me the items were on backorder.

Funny that I had them shipped from a real site and even had a tracking number in three days. Crooks for sure just stay away...

I ordered over a week ago and have yet to receive my items but not only that I haven't even gotten an email confirming delivery!! Tomorrow I will be contacting my credit card company and then the Better Business Bureau if I don't get some answers!

Getting a Run-Around

I have placed an order through EastCoastAquaCulture.com and have been waiting for almost three weeks for my purchase. I have received a couple emails from the CS@***.com and they have gone as far as filling out a USPS Pickup and provided a tracking #. However the tracking number and package has not reached the USPS location as of yet and I am starting to really think it is a big run-around... Small bucks but I also asked them for some sort of confirmation so I could decide to order somewhere else.. I just want my part... Silly people trying to do home business and can't manage it...

I purchased aquarium light bulbs from this company, which also uses the websites: SaltyLiveStock.com CheapPetProducts.Net DiscountedPetProducts.Net www.eastcoastaquaculture.com I placed the $100 order on June 1st and paid via paypal. Paypal deposits the funds immediately in the sellers account. The company, however, informed me after two weeks that they were still "waiting for the check to clear". After another two weeks, when I inquired as to the status of my order, the company told me that they had received the light bulbs broken and were now waiting for another shipment. Finally, my order was shipped June 27th, about a month after I placed the order. They packaged the LIGHTBULBS in one sheet of bubble wrap with tape around it. No box, no padding. Of course they ALL BROKE in the 2 WEEKS that it took for the PARCEL POST SHIPPING. The company has now informed me that, "glass products are not returnable/replacable due to damage once the product has left our premises! PERIOD!" I am writing so that perhaps other customers/consumers do not buy from this company. They have very shady selling practices and horrible customer service.

I have a groomer friend in the UK that ordered clippers and its been 2 months and she hasnt recieved them. I,m doing a little investigating on her behalf. She has repeatedly E mailed and is getting no responce .She ordered from discount pet producucts and cant even find a number to call them.I looked this company up on BBB and they list it as "company maybe out of business" They look like they have tried to contact this company and have also had no response.

This is 100% NOT TRUE. I ordered a 5.5 gallon tank. 2 days after I ordered it, I spoke to Carlos at cheappetproducts.net and he advised that they canceled the order and would refund my purchase price 100%. Two and half weeks later, not only did I receive the broken tank, but my money had not been refunded. And the glass tank was in the box NOT WRAPPED AT ALL. It was place in the shipping box as is. No packing materials. No casing... NOTHING. Bubble wrap my ***... I have pictures to prove it.

I WOULD DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM ORDERING FROM THIS SUPPLIER.

Let me be clear about the bubble wrap. I paid for a bunch of bulbs, and there was one piece around the total lot, not each bulb.

Glass on glass, shipped parcel post.

Sorry "Paul", you guys were wrong, period. If there is going to be a delay in delivery, you should have had the professionalism to inform your customer.

I don't know if you know this or not but this company is under new ownership. I used to buy from them before because of the prices but now it's because of price and service.

They really take customer service to a level most companies should strive for.

They are quick to answer emails & phone calls. They also have a live chat thingy on their site which is cool plus they have a call back utility on their site (check our the contact us page).

Once you place an order you get several messages sent to you as the order is completed. You even get notified about the day your order will ship.

I've read these "reviews" and think many of them are unfair. For example when you make a payment via Paypal and use a check it does take up to 2 weeks (sometimes longer) to clear. An order isn't "paid" for until the check clears.

BTW, I know the new owners don't use Paypal at all but instead process the credit cards directly when you order is about to ship unlike paypal which charges you upfront.

Another person complaining about the way usps tracking system works. This isn't a problem with this company. It's a problem with USPS. If you order much and have stuff shipped to you via USPS you would know it's not a tracking system but a delivery confirmation system.

I hate seeing a good company get bad reviews especially when much of "problems" are carrier issues and not the company you purchased from. Damage in shipping can happen regardless of who you purchase from.

I order stuff from CheapPetProducts.Net

about every 2 weeks and only had a problem one time when something was backordered. Nothing a simple phone call didn't fix.

I've found them to be very reliable and the saving are great!

Shipping Policy - Glass Products (Lamps, Tanks, etc)

Any type of glass product is not returnable AT ALL if broken in transit/delivery, PERIOD! All Glass products have a high chance of being broken/scratched during transit and we will not take responsibility for this. Orders containing glass products are at your own risk. We highly discourage ordering any type of glass product from us to have shipped (pickup is fine). If you do order a glass product from us because of our low prices please remember it could end up costing you more in the long run!

We do not ship tanks or lamps in boxes. We ship lamps wrapped in just enough bubble wrap to help protect them while still allowing a person to see what is wrapped inside. Tanks are wrapped in plastic to help protect them from scratches and to allow a person to see what is inside. We have found from experience this works the best overall. If you wish to have your package shipped differently from this please let us know within 24 hours of your order. Extra shipping may be required.

Again, please keep in mind that glass products are not returnable/replacable due to damage once the product has left our premises!

They pretty much clearly tell you about any glass or liquid products (another section).

They also tell you they don't stock the items but special order them in for you based on your order. That I believe is how they offer prices as low as they do.

I deal with these guys a lot so I'm going to point this site out to them. I'm sure they can elaborate on some of these issues.

I would like to see what they say.

Ordered 2 bird play pens on 27 May & never received them. It's already 25 July so despite numerous emails, I think I will never get my stuff. STAY AWAY

Stay away from www.discountedpetproducts.net.

We ordered some dog toys on June 30th after 10 days we contacted them only to be told..it has shipped and this is the tracking number. The tracking number was nevered submitted to the USPS. We emailed several more times only to be told today, July 22, 2008 that the items have now really shipped.

We don't believe them and will be surprised if they ever arrive. We kept cancelling the order via Paypal but they would reject the cancel.

The "customer service" email we received after voicing our complaint was unprofessional and a bit babbling about where the USPS is from their facility.

Buyer beware... do not buy from www.discountedpetproducts.net
